At the end of the last century (1990s), Japan relaxed the restrictions on refitting cars. According to current laws and regulations, refitted vehicles are divided into the following four categories:
1、 There is no need to apply for modification at all, and the license plate can be obtained by passing the vehicle inspection just like ordinary commercial vehicles;
2、 It is necessary to report the modification to the "Land Transport Bureau" and change the contents of vehicle registration, but no prior review is required;
3、 Vehicle modification;
4、 After modification, the vehicle does not conform to the Japanese [Security Standard] (equivalent to GB national security standard), no matter what
The three application methods will not be licensed.
To put it simply, the fourth type of modification has been separated from the category of street cars and is only applicable to special vehicles such as racing cars, which can be omitted. The first three categories are the objects we want to study.
